45 North Group was engaged by Mitsubishi HC Capital America, Inc. and managed the design, construction, and relocation of their new tenant improvement buildout in Edina, Minnesota, as well as the decommissioning of their existing leased space.

During the design and construction phase, 45 North Group oversaw the project design and construction, managed the project budget, and coordinated the schedule while dealing with supply chain and lead time constraints resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Our team also facilitated RFP selections for a general contractor, furniture vendor, audiovisual, and low voltage vendors.

For the relocation phase, our team created a relocation plan, facilitated an RFP to hire a relocation vendor, and oversaw a seamless relocation process. We were also engaged to oversee the decommissioning of the existing leased space to accommodate the lease termination requirements.

The new office environment features a front lobby and meeting rooms for a welcoming guest experience and dedicated office area for increased collaboration among the team. It also features polished concrete floors, open ceilings, and enhanced sustainability features, including access to natural daylight and views.
